Our growers range in size from just over two acres to over 100 acres. Our "partner" growers market their product through other members. Even our smallest grower is held to the same standard that our largest growers must meet.
Membership in Certified Greenhouse Farmers requires that each individual greenhouse be certified by NSF International to the Certified Greenhouse Standard. If an operation fails to meet the Standard, product from that individual greenhouse cannot be labeled as "Certified". Nearly 50 greenhouses market their vegetables through our members. Backyard Farms operates 42-acres of greenhouse space in Madison, Maine, providing the
